WEEK 13 - UPDATED
Welp, I hate the Denver Broncos. Allowing the Oakland Raiders to walk all over them caused me the championship in one suicide league. I can’t believe how terrible that division is. Anyways….time for the week 13 locks.
Take it to the Bank
Titans at vs Detroit - Ignore all of that don’t bet against Detroit nonsense. I still do not believe they will go 0-16 but fail to see anyway possible that they win this game. Maybe if Vince Young was the starting QB for the Titans but that is about it. Believe me, I tried to convince myself Detroit had a chance. (more…)

Well, I guess in a way Mike was right about Ryan Torain. After a 68 yard 1 TD performance it does not look like he will be doing much the remainder of the year. Torain suffered an ACL injury and will be having an MRI where the results are not expected to be positive. 12 points in a standard league isn’t that bad so if you had him playing, nice work.
Jay Cutler completely took a dump in the Cleveland Brown’s cereal. 447 yards 3 TDs and 1 INT. You could not ask for a better night from your QB. Eddie Royal, NOT Brandon Marshall was the main benefactor finishnig with 164 yards and a TD. Marshall was no slouch finishing with 89 yards and a TD for himself.
Brady Quinn didn’t fair too poorly either. 239 and 2 TDs. I would take that in a second. His main target was Kellen Winslow who finished with 111 and 2 TDs. Bad news for Braylon Edwards owners as he finished with only 1 catch and 15 yards. 15 yards. That’s it. Maybe it is time to give up on him. Although you might have a hard time getting rid of him. I am going to go ahead and take back what I said about buying low for him. Quinn spread the ball well and Edwards was not a contributor. Hey on the other hand, fat Jamal Lewis scored a TD….against the worst defense in the league. hooray.

Brady Quinn will start for the browns tonight. It is also likely that Roy Zimmerman Daunte Culpepper will be starting for the lions this week. The question is who is the better start. To start, if you are picking between these two you are: 1) fucked; 2) in the same position I am in a few leagues.
Both have excellent targets, Braylon and Calvin Johnson respectively. But Quinn is so hyped that I feel he will be doomed to choke tonight, browns fans deserve and expect nothing less. Also Braylon has a serious pass dropping problem. The Denver defense, however, is horrible. The lions will be going against the Jags. Big John Henderson may be limited or hurt for this game which is great for the lions but their D is still more solid than Denver.
I have to go with Quinn here. Jamal Lewis is due for a game, and its not hard to have a good one against Denver. The run game will help the pass, and Quinn playing should give the team a shot in the arm. Culpepper will be adjusting to a new offense, he may be good a week or two from now. But, you really don’t need to know a playbook when you can just throw it near Calvin Johnson.
If you really need a QB, I would check out - Kyle Orton who will likely be back in a week and has been dropped in many leagues.
