Week 14 Rankings

Week 14 Player Rankings - UPDATED 11/26/08

QB

1. Kurt Warner

2. Aaron Rodgers

3. Drew Brees

4. Matt Cassel

5. Jay Cutler

6. Peyton Manning

7. Brett Favre

8. Matt Ryan

9. Tony Romo

10. Tyler Thigpen

11. Eli Manning

12. Donovan McNabb

13. Ben Roethlisberger

14. Shaun Hill

15. Philip Rivers

16. Chad Pennington

17. Kyle Orton

18. Gus Frerote

19. Joe Flacco

20. Jeff Garcia

Things I do not care about: That Matt Cassel had a shitty week last week. He had consecutive 400 yard games before thie Pitt game and now he gets the Seattle defense that cannot defend the pass; I do not care that Chad Pennington threw for over 300 yards the last time he faced Buffalo. After last weeks no show I do not trust him very much; I do not care that Tony Romo is facing the Steelers. They are a great D but the Dallas offense is clicking and I expect nice numbers from Romo.

Running Backs

1. Adrian Peterson

2. Michael Turner

3. LaDanian Tomlinson

4. Matt Forte

5. Steve Slaton

6. Thomas Jones

7. Chris Johnson

8. Peyton Hillis

9. Brandon Jacobs

10. Brian Westbrook

11. Marshawn Lynch

12. DeAngelo Williams

13. Larry Johnson

14. Steven Jackson

15. Maurice Jones-Drew

16. Joseph Addai

17. Frank Gore

18. Reggie Bush

19. Ryan Grant

20. Ronnie Brown

21. Marion Barber

22. Clinton Portis

23. Tim Hightower

24. Justin Fargas

25. LenDale White

Things we learned from last week: Don’t sit Brian Westbrook. Even with 4 bad games before last week he can break out at anytime and this time the offense seemed to center around him. Peyton Hillis made me eat my words and had another good week. He has another favorable matchup this week vs KC. Steve Slaton’s turn to face Green Bay so he moves into the top 5. Despite Tim Hightower’s matchup vs St Louis I still do not trust Hightower to put up big numbers. He probably gets in the end zone once but not much more.

Wide Receivers

1. Anquan Boldin

2. Larry Fitzgerald

3. Greg Jennings

4. Randy Moss

5. Roddy White

6. Calvin Johnson

7. Andre Johnson

8. Steve Smith

9. Brandon Marshall

10. Reggie Wayne

11. Lee Evans

12. Terrell Owens

13. Dwayne Bowe

14. Lance Moore

15. Marques Colston

16. Bernard Berrian

17. Wes Welker

18. Jerricho Cotchery

19. Laveranues Coles

20. Hines Ward

WR’s! - Donald Driver misses the top 20 but I still like him to have a nice game. I also like both Giants receivers, Amani Toomer and Dominick Hixon. Those could be nice sleepers if you are trying to upset a top seed in the playoffs or just get into the playoffs. Andre Johnson is a beast. I have him 7th but he is just an animal and possibly one of my new favorite players. He can do it all.

Tight Ends

1. Tony Gonzalez

2. Jason Witten

3. Antonio Gates

4. Dustin Keller

5. Dallas Clark

6. Tony Scheffler

7. Kevin Boss

8. Zach Miller

9. John Carlson

10. Owen Daniels

11. Bo Scaife

12. Chris Cooley

13. Jeremy Shockey

Could make or break you: John Carlson - 100 yards receiving last week? With Hasselback back on the field could this happen again? ehhhhhh, maybe. Zach Miller seems to be the only player on the Raiders besides Darren McFadden who can catch a pass.

Defenses

1. Titans

2. Vikings

3. Colts

4. Jets

5. Tampa Bay

6. Ravens

7. Giants

8. Steelers

9. Bears

10. Cardinals

11. Patriots

12. Panthers

Defense - Dont be scurred to use the Giants. They force turnovers and get sacks….who cares if they give up a few more points than the Cardinals will. Colts Defense is on fire. Great matchup there as well.

KICKERS - Mike has been emailing me all week about his kicker sleepers this week so please flood his inbox at mike@rotodorks.com with all questions. This could win you your game.
